Please Pray for our friend, Steve!

Steve Langman, owner of Wasaga Paint Ball in Wasaga Beach, Ontario was in a serious dirt biking accident last week, when his brother Brent, who was riding behind Steve, found him unconscious on the ground - it is presumed he hit a rut, then a tree. He was airlifted to Toronto, where he remains unconscious. He has a skull fracture over one eye, severe bruising to the brain. On the plus side, he is responding to Donna's voice & has now squeezed her hand 3x. Praise the Lord his neck & spine are ok, but his brain has been bruised, and I ask that you pray for these dear friends, our brother & sister in the Lord, & their four children.

Darren loves fixing up the yard...

Darren thought our yard needed some TLC so off to Canadian Tire he went and we now have a gazaebo... it looks nice, and Julie loved helping with the construction process ~ what a little worker she is! Now all we need is warm weather!

Glenn's Real Love...

This sweet 10 year old boy of mine thinks of little else besides hockey. I went in to his room one night to check on his brother, and the slight disturbance jolted him out of his dream world enough to exclaim, "It hit the post!" I laughed right out loud. While I prefer my son's straight nose and beautiful teeth to remain in their original God-given condition, it appears that we may be on the brink of relenting and allowing his feet to grace the ice this fall... for now, Trenton has a Ball Hockey league, in which he scores many a goal and expends much of that little boy energy. We're big fans, too, so it's a fun night out!

Sad & Busy week...

Darren lost his dad, "Bumpy" yesterday, to cancer... and the kids lost their Grampie. Darren's in Battle River, Alberta for another 9 days working on an outside job, so we can't grieve together. But he is grateful for the visit he had home with him two months ago, and holds that dear in his heart... meanwhile, I hold down the fort, having had a showing almost every day this past week. The non-stop housework is more than I am used to!! So I think the Lord will give me one showing after another with no offers, just to really train me well in this new art :) LOL
The lawn mower wouldn't start today, so tomorrow's showing will hopefully be to people who love back yard dandelions! A friend is coming over tonight with her kids and her hubby is graciously installing two new basement windows for us! It's so nice to have friends...
